Scott McNealy, Former CEO & Founder of Sun Microsystems

Scott McNealy was a founder and CEO and Chairman of Sun Microsystems. He is one of a few CEO's of a major corporation to have a tenure of over 20 years. He is quick to note that his background is business, not technology and is continually challenging the companies he engages with to make their products of high value and easy implementation. Scott has a BA in Economics from Harvard and an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business.

David Chen, President of Pactera

Mr. Chen serves as President of Pactera, a Asia based global IT services provider with more than 24,000 associates around the globe. He was one of the Co-Founders of VanceInfo, and previously served as Vice Chairman & President at Vanceinfo before the merger with hiSoft to become Pactera, where he oversaw strategy and daily operations since 2001. Prior to co-founding VanceInfo, Mr. Chen held consulting and technology positions including Product Marketing Manager at IBM/Crosswords, Management Consultant at the KPMG Strategic Consulting Group, and Software Engineer in Oracle’s ERP product group. Mr. Chen received a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tongji University, China.

James Spitze served as a CIO for over a dozen prominent companies, including QANTUS, Xerox Data Systems and American President Lines (APL). He is known to specialize in IT executive management issues, defining the role of the CIO, turning around troubled IT projects and serving as a visionary thought leader to the IT profession. James holds BS and MS, EE & Computer Science degrees from UC Berkeley.

Before heading the US operation of VanceInfo, Vince was an executive member and solution principal at Infosys Consulting, running multiple solution offerings within high tech and manufacturing vertical. Prior to Infosys, Vince was in software product management space managing software development for Oracle, Selectica, and BEA. Vince has a B.S. in Computer Science from Sichuan University, China, and MBA from Yale University, USA.

Richard W. Arnold, CFO and VP Strategy and Corp Dev. of Charles Schwab

Rich has been CFO or COO of bothlarge and small, public and private companies in both the USA and Australia. He was CFO and VP Strategy and Corp Dev. of Charles Schwab, aiding the founder in building the Company from 20 employees to over 6,000. He led multiple debt and equity financing rounds, the outright sale of the firm to Bank of America, the subsequent management buy-back, and the highly successful IPO and simultaneous NYSE listing. As an independent Director on the board of Intellisync (NASDAQ:SYNC) he led the strategy committee which managed the $450MM sale of the company to Nokia. As COO and CFO of Phoenix Technologies (NASDAQ:PTEC) he led a turnaround from quarterly losses of over $15 Million to positive cash flow in less than 12 months. As CFO of CrowdFlower Inc. he assisted in the conversion of the business from a managed services model to a SaaS licensing model and in the successful completion of a $12.5 Million C-Round financing.

Greg Hargrove

Greg brings a broad range of experience in both executive leadership and strategic consulting roles. Among his start up ventures, he co-founded Westcor Corporation, an innovative manufacturer of electronic power systems, acquired by Vicor Corporation, (VICR), after demonstrating a consistent record of growth and profitability. Prior to Westcor, Greg was a key member of the sales team at ASK Computers, (acquired by Computer Associates), where he developed relationships with major accounts, and coordinated an unbroken series of successful ERP implementations.
Early in his career, Greg worked in systems integration for HP, and later helped establish a West Coast manufacturing facility for Pitney-Bowes. As an early employee at Trimble Navigation, Greg established its first formal manufacturing and IT systems. Greg was also a member of the management team at Grid Systems, developers of the original laptop and tablet computers, and the first commercial computer to fly aboard the space shuttle. (Ultimately acquired by Samsung.) Greg was also a co-founder of a video media recording company,
Building upon his BSBA, Greg completed the graduate program in Entrepreneurship at Boston University, and the Stanford Executive Program in Management of High Technology companies.
In his current role as Managing Director for the Alliance of Chief Executives, Greg arranges opportunities for business leaders to share their unique knowledge and experience, to better understand changes affecting their organizations and identify new opportunities for growth.
